Classwork: Cut To The Beat Editing

Here is a blog for the classwork I worked on with Maxine and Mila, two classmates from my media studies class. I contributed by watching a tutorial video incase the editor (Maxine) needed help, I helped in choosing the song and also gave feedback on editing. This blog was done by me (Cassie).

REFLECTION:

This blog was done by me, but most of the work was done by Maxine. My role was helping with choosing a song, providing ideas, and giving feedback. I wanted to discuss in more detail with my team members about this classwork we had to do, however our main problem was that it was quite hard to communicate. The three of us are not that close, and do not share any common group chats together so communicate had to be done separately. I was scared that with bad communication, I may miss out on important information and need to catch up on work. So, to solve this, I decided to ask Maxine about her progress and turns out she finished quickly. She sent me her presentation so I could know more about her editing process which made it easier to write this blog. Next time, I would work in a group which had easy/not awkward communication if possible, and if not, I’d create a group chat so we can all contribute something and consume the same information.
