Here is my classwork about persona and brand identity for component 3. This was made my Tisha, Kimora and I (Cassie).
Reflection:
Making the mind map about my artist’s persona and brand identity helped me clearly understand who my artist is and how they should be presented. It was useful because I could organise my ideas about the artist’s personality, style, and image in one place. This made it easier to keep my music video consistent and made sure the artist has a clear identity. The main problem I had was putting in too many ideas that didn’t fully match each other. Since the artist is made up, I added things I liked without thinking about whether they all worked together. This made the artist’s persona a bit confusing at first. To solve this, I chose only the most important ideas and removed the ones that didn’t fit the artist’s main image. I grouped similar ideas together so the brand identity was clearer and more focused. This helped me create an artist that feels more realistic and easy for the audience to understand.
Next time, I would look at more real artists (since I only researched a few in detail) before making the mind map so I can plan the persona better from the start and avoid adding ideas that don’t fit.
